TDI Advanced Nitrox Course
This course examines the use of EAN-21 through 100 percent oxygen for optimal mixes to a depth of 40 metres / 130 feet. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing EAN-21 through 100 percent oxygen for dives not requiring staged decompression. TDI Decompression Procedures or the Intro to Tech may be combined with this course at the discretion of the instructor. Stand-alone nitrox gases are used to extend bottom times beyond standard air limits utilizing gas switching to different nitrox's these dives are known as extended no stop dives. This course is offered using a standardized technical equipment configuration and is a foundational level for those looking to entre in to the technical diving arena. Many students opt to combine this course with decompression procedures or helitrox diver as nitrox mixes are known to optimize the decompression phase of deeper dives.

Run stand alone this course is conducted over 3-4 days when combined with Decompression procedures or Helitrox diver the class runs in 5-6 full days

*A 3-way combination of TDI Intro to Tech, Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures is permitted with a minimum of 8 dives required. The prerequisites for advanced nitrox and decompression procedures diver must be met for this combination before starting the program.
